Today, we learnt about what are the things that will be assessed. If we don't update our blog, one criteria will be -2 unless we finish it tomorrow. I will update my blog by tomorrow. I also watched my friends practice and try their melody. I will also be able to play my own melody by next session.

Today, we practiced our songs and we learnt how to play our song with the natural scale. I now know how to play my song. I will be able to play my song and update my blog by next session.

Today, we learnt about major scale using both crests and flats. We learnt more about major scale and we started to learn how to use flats. I will remember the minor scale 3-7.

Today, we learnt how to use 3 crests and 3 flats instead of just a natural scale. Now, I can use up to 7 crests. I had to write the scales and that was tiring. I will be able to understand and memorize the major scales.

Today, we learnt about more pentatonic notes and heard how our songs sound like. We got our score for the 32 bar melody. I will be able to play my song next week and practice at home.

Today, I heard my other friends from woodwind play and the others who didn't play their melody last week. The woodwind sounded quite new. I also made a group for playing Natasha Allysa's melody. My group is Natasha A, Olivia S, Steviani H, Malvin M and myself. I will practice Natasha's song next session.

Today, I played my melody with the others. Even though I did a mistake, it wasn't a major mistake. I heard everybody play except the woodwind because there wasn't enough time. I will update my blog again by next week.

Today, I learnt to improve my pentatonic melody making skills. Now I know that I can use repetition in my song to make it easier. Because of this advice from Mr. Herry, I can finish my song in less time. I will finish my song and practice it in music theory next session.

Today, I updated my blog and it has been updated until the 8th February 2010, which is last session. We learned again about pentatonic notes and reviewed what we learnt last session and the session before. We now can use one more oktaf higher than 1 oktaf in our pentatonic notes composition. We made our 16 bared composition this session. I will finish my pentatonic composition by next week.

Today, I was given the score for my individual booklet. I forgot to make a table of contents, because of that, I only got a 7.5/8. We learnt about pentatonic notes and I made my own song using Japanese pentatonic notes. I will try to play the song on my violin and/or sing my song in do re mi form.

Today, we learnt about the major and minor scales. I wrote down a lot of things in my music book. I will make a twelve bared song using Japanese pentatonic notes(A 5 note skill).

Today, I sang Bahay Kubo and I managed to sing it, even though my voice was out. I presented my powerpoint presentation with Garin, Ryan, Emily and Alyssa. For next week, I will start doing my individual booklet and discuss with my friends on what to do.

Today, I managed to sing Bahay Kubo. I also finished the powerpoint presentation with my group. I got the information from Garin, Ryan, Alyssa, Emily and I also found it in the Internet myself.

Today, I sang Sakura and I have to memorise it on Thursday next week. For next Thursday, I have to show the information I have for Philippine music. I will start my powerpoint presentation and sing Sakura.
